What is the MITRE eCTF?

The MITRE Embedded CTF is an annual embedded security competition run by The MITRE Corporation. Over the course of three months, our team works to design and implement a secure system on embedded hardware and attack systems developed by other universities.

This unique format provides hands-on experience with real-world embedded security challenges, including secure boot processes, cryptographic implementations, hardware security, and attack surface analysis.

Batman's Kitchen has been participating since 2023. Although the competition runs for three months, we train our members from the start of the school year to best prepare them for success in the competition. We build our own mini-curriculum designed to help students who've never coded in C or seen an embedded board succeed in the competition.
